Mentoring a new tourism project 

 I am a retired tourism & leisure local government officer with many years experience in the field of travel,tourism & Leisure,& tour operations.
I have covered grant applications, consortium formation, visitor attractions, diversification planning (e.g farm tourism.
I am aware that many people lack the knowledge and contacts to know how to progress when entering the the tourism industry. I would be more than willing to help potential operators through the minefield that exists.
I was aware in my early years as an officer that a  lack of information was a problem for potential businesses wishing to progress into the industry and having seen the amalgamation and demise of regional tourist boards as such feel that this is still an existing problem.
Therefore I am wiling to offer up many years of expertise to something I care passionately about quality, value, new ventures and helping people to succeed in their business having been given the help and advice they need.
I'm happy to discuss anything in the category as I have covered most aspects.
