I miss the workplace buzz

Does this mean that a new kind of routine is needed to replace the office gossip?   Comments and suggestions please.

Comment:  What about building a peer group who share your interests and who meet regularly over lunch/supper/ a pint?  You can exchange learned papers or local gossip, as the mood takes you.
