Volunteering in Hamstead to Drive out-patients to the Marie Curie Hospice
Call for Volunteers
The Day Therapy unit at Marie Curie Hospice, Hampstead urgently requires Volunteer Drivers to transport patients with cancer and other illnesses to and from day therapy and out-patients appointments at the Hampstead Hospice. Ideally, volunteer drivers will be available for a few hours once a week.
As a volunteer driver, Jim collects patients every week, brings them to day care and returns them safely home at the end of the day. “I enjoy everything about my volunteering. I hope someone would do the same for me some day if it was ever necessary…… I enjoy doing it and like helping people. I meet some wonderful people.”
Please consider joining us and pass this important message on to colleagues.
